Each one of the options proposed by Cerro Frías is a unique and different experience, which is performed in circuits, independent from one another, lasting approximately 2 hours. Activities are suitable for the entire family.

4x4 Cerro Frias
The 4X4 ride starts with a climb of the east slope, with views to the Lago Argentino’s main sector, reaching the first natural viewpoint at 450 meters high. The itinerary is resumed, with views to the Devil’s Mouth and the Avellaneda Peninsula, reaching the 1030 meters. From the top, the Fitz Roy Mountain (200 km to the north) can be seen as well as the Macizo de Paine (Chile).
The panoramic view from the Cerro Frías offers and interesting geographic introduction to the region and its charm, from the top all the mountain range’s peaks can be seen as well as the National Park borders and the historic landmarks from different explorers.
Descent is performed through the southern slope, with view to the Centinela Valley up to the base where the farm shed is located.
Limitations: This activity has no limitations; it may be performed by people of all ages and in different physical shape.
Recommendation: Bring warm coats to step out from the car at the viewpoints.

4x4 Cerro Frias
The zip line activity consists in gliding along a sheave and cable lines system.
The zip lines are located at the Cerro Frias’ southern slope and zigzag over a lower valley.
After providing the mountain equipment necessary to perform the activity (harness, helmets and carabiners), the circuit begins by ascending in a full traction vehicle up to 540 meters high, where the first platform is located. From there, the descent begins through 5 cable lines, each of approximately 500 meters long, hung at a maximum altitude of 100 meters.
With its 2500 meters long, the Cerro Frias’ zip line is the longest in South America.

Limitations: The activity may be performed by people 6 years old and up, in good physical shape. Maximum weight: 110 KG. This activity is NOT AVAILABLE for pregnant women, people who suffer organic or functional risk diseases, people suffering from cardiac diseases or motor impairment. This activity is not recommended for people with balance problems, asthma, disabilities, neck, shoulder or spinal cord problems. CERRO FRIAS reserves the right of admission due to safety reasons. If any person does not follow the safety guidelines that the staff indicates, he or she may be asked to leave the activity.
Recommendation: Comfortable and warm clothes, suitable for the activity, trekking shoe ware.

HORSE BACK RIDING < >  X
4x4 Cerro Frias
Cerro Frías offers a horseback ride at a calmed pace, suitable for beginners and which reveals the beauty and tranquility surrounding.
The stables are located a few meters away from the farm shed and from there, the outing begins, performed circularly and reaching 600 meters high.
Cerro Frias’ southern slope presents views to admire, facing the Centinela Valley and the Lago Argentino’s Rico branch. As the horse climbs, height reveals views of the Lago Argentino, El Calafate and Torres del Paine.
Along the itinerary it is possible to come across wild and farm animals, which amuse the route until riders return to the pen.

From the Cerro Frias’ farm shed, several different trails start that adapt to the needs and shapes from our visitors. Trekking through the mountain’s southern slope, many panoramic points are reached that allow views of the Centinela Valley, Lago Argentino, the Lago Argentino’s Rico branch and the Torres del Paine. The landscape combines steppe and lenga trees forests that host different types of plants and animals ready to be discovered by the adventurous’ clever eyes.
